IF YOU WORKED AS A DRIVER FOR VALLEY PROTEINS, INC. IN NORTH CAROLINA, PLEASE READ THE NOTICE ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS.
- Three drivers working for Valley Proteins, Inc. in North Carolina have sued Valley Proteins, Inc., claiming Valley Proteins did not pay them and other drivers for all hours worked, miscalculated overtime wages due, and unlawfully deducted from drivers' wages. Valley Proteins denies any wrongdoing.
- The Court has not yet addressed whether Valley Proteins did anything wrong, but the parties have proposed a settlement of this case, and the Court has authorized notice of that proposed settlement to people who may be eligible to participate in it.
- You have received a Notice because records indicate that you were employed by Valley Proteins as a driver in North Carolina between March 19, 2018, and January 13, 2022. Your rights are affected by this settlement, and if you return the claim form, you will receive a monetary payment under the settlement.
- Your legal rights are affected whether you act or not. These options are explained below.

RETURN A CLAIM FORM
|To receive a settlement payment, if the Court approves the settlement, you must complete the claim form provided with the notice and return it to the Settlement Administrator. You will also be bound by the release of claims explained below and give up the right to sue Defendant separately.|
|If you do nothing, and do not return the claim form, you will not receive a settlement payment, but you may still be bound by the release of claims explained below.|
|You may ask to be excluded from the settlement. If you request exclusion, you will not receive a settlement payment and will not be bound by the release of claims explained below and cannot object to the settlement.|
You must return the enclosed claim form by MAY 21, 2022 to receive a payment from this settlement.
