- Three drivers working for Valley Proteins, Inc. in North Carolina have sued Valley Proteins, Inc., claiming Valley Proteins did not pay them and other drivers for all hours worked, miscalculated overtime wages due, and unlawfully deducted from drivers' wages. Valley Proteins denies any wrongdoing.
- The Court has not yet addressed whether Valley Proteins did anything wrong, but the parties have proposed a settlement of this case, and the Court has authorized notice of that proposed settlement to people who may be eligible to participate in it.
- You have received a Notice because records indicate that you were employed by Valley Proteins as a driver in North Carolina between March 19, 2018, and January 13, 2022. Your rights are affected by this settlement, and if you return the claim form, you will receive a monetary payment under the settlement.
